Resume Writing Tips

  • Got a resume? You need a very good resume more than you may think! A resume is required to apply for any job—part-time, full-time, internships, volunteer work, ministry and even graduate school applications. Sample resumes from the professionals will be available. You will receive a copy of the most widely used job search book by college students nationwide. 

Job Interview Success!

  • Learn what you can do to get hired for any job! You will learn what to do before, during and after an interview to increase your chances of getting a job offer.

Mock Interviews

  • Date: Wednesday, March 23, 2011
  • Time: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Location: Career Services Center in Student Life Office
  • Employers will be here to interview you for 30 minutes and offer suggestions on how to improve your interviewing skills and how to make a great first impression when you meet an employer. Dress in interview attire, professionally, for the interview.
  • Sign up in advance at the Student Life Reception Desk (SCC 126) Bring a copy of your resume when you sign up.

The Job Search: Before and After Graduation
